The Story of Our Guachinche in La Orotava
It all started over 14 years ago, but the roots of this very special place go back much further. Our name, “Romance,” is a heartfelt tribute to a beloved horse owned by Mauro, the heart behind this establishment.
Every corner of our Guachinche is filled with symbols of the values that define us: dedication, passion, and a deep connection to our roots.
The spirit of our guachinche was born from Don Francisco, Mauro’s grandfather, who passed down not only the love for Canarian cuisine but also the importance of keeping traditions alive.
With the help of his parents, Mauro transformed that legacy into what we now call “the Romance Corner.”
Here, every detail serves a purpose: from the fresh, local ingredients we use to the rustic, family-friendly atmosphere we’ve created.
